Laimir Fano has a degree in dramatic arts from the National Arts School of Cuba, where he has worked as an acting professor. Model Town, his first documentary, won more than 10 awards in different festivals in Cuba, Brazil, Venezuela, Peru, Guatemala, the US, England, and Argentina.
