Drama

Handsome, lanky Manchester and his doe-eyed girlfriend Noon are overheating a small garage apartment in the English countryside during an endless sweltering summer day. He's a photographer, she's a taxidermist—and they are head over heals in lust with one another. Manchester has taken to snapping away explicit and intimate pics during their lovemaking… pictures that were supposed to be just for them. But when he leaves the photos behind in a pub after one too many pints, a wealthy collector "discovers" Manchester's work and declares his laissez-faire method sheer genius. He offers a lucrative advance and hastily organizes a solo show that draws the crème de la crème of the art world. Money is new in Manchester's world, and his hasty rise to fame spurs unforeseen consequences and uncovered truths.

brilliantlove is a gorgeous and dangerous marinade of passion, art, and ambition that languorously intoxicates the senses. Sharply observed and teeming with style, director Ashley Horner's sophomore effort captures the yearning and desire of a young, desperate love that possesses the power to strengthen and fortify while incinerating the romantic soul.
