Christopher Tellefsen

Academy Award®-nominated editor Christopher Tellefsen, A.C.E. , began his career in the '90s, independent film scene in New York, gaining recognition with Whit Stillman's Oscar®-nominated "Metropolitan.” He also edited Stillman’s ”Barcelona," Wayne Wang's “Blue in the Face,” Larry Clark's controversial first film “Kids,” and the David O. Russell comedy "Flirting with Disaster.”

Telllefsen crossed over to his first studio picture with Milos Forman’s “The People vs. Larry Flynt.” Thriving on a balance between independent and studio films, he next edited Harmony Korine's cult classic ”Gummo” and Wayne Wang's “Chinese Box” before editing Harold Ramis' “Analyze This,” for which he received an Eddie nomination from the American Cinema Editors. In London in the late nineties, he edited “Birthday Girl” and “Changing Lanes.” Tellefsen’s work on Forman’s “Man on the Moon” resulted in another A.C.E. Eddie nomination.

Additional credits include Robert Benton's “The Human Stain,” M. Night Shyamalan's "The Village,” the Oscar®-winning, “Capote,” "Fair Game,” "The Drop", "Assassin's Creed" and "The Many Saint's of Newark". In 2012, Tellefsen was nominated for an Academy Award® and an Eddie for his work on "Moneyball,” he received his fourth Eddie nomination for his collaborative work on “Joy” and won an HPA award for “A Quiet Place.” Chris received another ACE, Eddie nomination for Mark Mylod's dark comedy/horror hit, "The Menu." Last year he edited “NYAD” the first feature film by documentarians, E.Chai Vaserelll and Jimmy Chin starring Annette Bening and Jodie Foster. Chris is currently editing “Atlantis” a musical directed by Michel Gondry, based on the early life of Pharrell Williams.

Jamie Kirkpatrick

Editor Jamie Kirkpatrick, ACE has been at the forefront of New York’s independent film scene for over twenty years. His diverse filmography includes such notable titles as Lost in Translation, Dave Chappelle’s Block Party, The Inevitable Defeat of Mister & Pete (which had a special screening at the Obama White House), My Friend Dahmer and John Leguizamo’s critically-acclaimed, directorial debut Critical Thinking. Recent editing credits include the Western Old Henry, the international drama The Collaborator and the highly anticipated comedic crime drama Greedy People. His enthusiasm for cinematic storytelling is matched only by his dedication to the craft of film editing, his encyclopedic knowledge of the works of Krzysztof Kieslowski and his well-documented weakness for a good doughnut.
