TFF To Bring Creatives Together at New Downtown Hub for 2015
Join us in a new creative space at Spring Studios for festivalgoers, filmmakers, VIPs, press, industry professionals, and special events for the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival, April 15–26.
The Tribeca Film Festival®, presented by AT&T, will open a new all-day
Festival destination and resource center in downtown NYC for all those
who are inspired by innovation, creativity, and entertainment. TFF will take up residency at Spring Studios, a 150,000 square foot state-of-the-art exhibition space located at 50 Varick Street, that will host our Tribeca Talks® panels and the Tribeca Hacks and TFI Interactive days, additional innovation talks and demonstrations, galleries, collaborative work spaces, and more. All together, it will provide a place where filmmakers, artists, storytellers, Festival participants, partners, and VIPs can come together to share the Festival experience.
Realizing TFF co-founder Jane Rosenthal’s vision of “a space where the Festival community [can] interact and explore ideas, and where we [can] celebrate artists and their work,” Spring Studios will also house lounges designated for filmmakers, industry professionals, and the press. The majority of the Festival’s special events, including Tribeca's innovation offerings, Awards Night, panel discussions, and after parties, will take place at this venue.
As part of our mission to expand TFF’s downtown community, Regal Cinemas Battery Park Stadium 11 joins Spring Studios as a new Festival venue, forming a foundation downtown with the spaces that festivalgoers have already enjoyed for years. The Tribeca Performing Arts Center is home to many of the Festival’s gala red carpet premieres. Other downtown Festival venues include Tribeca Cinemas and Brookfield Place, which hosts the annual free outdoor Tribeca Drive-In® on the Hudson River series. The SVA Theater and Bowtie Cinemas in Chelsea will also continue to host TFF screenings and events.
If this news wasn't already exciting enough, we are introducing the Spring Pass, Spring Day Pass, and Spring Student Pass to provide full access to all of the incredible programs and offerings available at the Festival's creative hub at Spring, including a resource center and creative workspace with food, coffee, and drinks. The passes will also provide reduced ticket prices for select special events.
Spring Passes are $400, discounted to $300 if purchased before April 15. They allow pass holders to invite a guest each day of the Festival. Spring Day passes are $50, discounted to $40 if purchased before April 15.
