AT&T Wants You To Vote For Your Favorite NYC Movie
Use the hashtag #FilmForAll to vote for the movie you think every New Yorker should see. One of the films receiving the most votes will screen to the public for free in all 5 boroughs over the summer.
As our TFF 2014 Presenting Sponsor, AT&T has dedicated itself to bringing movies to the masses. Their Film For All campaign is a multimedia initiative that connects people through the power of films.
By now, you’ve probably already got your tickets for a screening of your choice on Film for All Friday (April 25). Through this program, AT&T and TFF are making groundbreaking independent films available to audiences that might not otherwise have access to them. In addition to that initiative, AT &T also is seeking votes from everyone taking advantage of Film For All Friday as well as festivalgoers in general.
From now through the end of the Festival, TFF audiences and movies lovers everywhere are encouraged to cast their votes on Twitter for the film that they believe every New Yorker should see. After TFF 2014, AT&T will tally the votes and offer a screening of one of the top-voted films in each borough over the course of the summer. Want to see your favorite New York movie on the big screen? Just tweet the movie title with the hashtag #filmforall and let your voice be heard!
Starting Tuesday, April 22 - Saturday, April 26, AT&T will transform the company's building at 33 Thomas Street in Tribeca into a #FilmForAll projection wall. Festival goers and film fans who cast their vote and provide consent may see their Twitter avatar projected onto the building along with AT&T's homage to some of the greatest films of our time. So come down to the heart of Tribeca and see your name and Twitter picture in lights!
Being a film fan has never been easier (or this much fun!).
