If you're not keeping tabs on writer/director Ava DuVernay, you should be -- and chances are, you soon will be.

She's got a Golden Globe nom. And now? A Barbie.

Last Friday, Forbes announced that every high school in the U.S. would receive a screening copy of Selma, courtesy of Paramount Home Media Distribution.

And now? DuVernay's got her very own Barbie doll, one of (hopefully) many to be released via Mattel's new "Sheroes" collection. Read the full Time Magazine story here.
