In last year's TFF selection, bus driver Lesley (Amy Morton) is distracted by a bluebird during her nightly inspection of the bus, accidentally leaving a sleeping child in the freezing cold overnight. Shot on location, Bluebird captures the stark, beautiful landscape of northern Maine as it follows the townspeople working through the tragic consequences of Lesley's actions.

The filmmakers are now looking to Kickstarter for help to release the film theatrically. Supporters can bid on rewards ranging from a digital download of the film to a vacation package in Northern Maine - including a lobster dinner.
