Lily Cole Talks Showing Gratitude Via Social Platforms on Acting Disruptive

In the eleventh episode of the AOL ON/Tribeca® Digital Studios series ‘Acting Disruptive,’ actress/model Lily Cole talks about encouraging a culture of giving and receiving through social networking.

“To ‘like’ something feels like a more much easier gesture than saying ‘thank you’, and I just think is such an important thing to do.”

In the eleventh episode of Acting Disruptive, British import Lily Cole talks with host Max Lugavere about Impossible, the new social platform that inspires people to do things for others for no monetary gain. People can post their “wishes” along with what they can offer the grantor in the spirit of exchange.  Impossible’s audience uses  “thank yous” instead of “likes” or “favorite” to stimulate a peer-to-peer gift economy.

Max joins Lily as she gets one of her wishes fulfilled: to learn how to do graffiti art.The two meet with actor/artist Corin Nemec and help him complete a portrait of a familiar face on the side of a LA warehouse.
