We can’t help but feel a little sad since our final Tribeca Drive-In®, co-sponsored by AT&T and JetBlue, screened last night. Luckily, the adorable Lil Bub attended the showing of Lil Bub & Friendz, so  the series concluded “purrfectly.” Also, exceptional films like Sunlight Jr., Trust Me, Teenage, The Inside Out Project and more celebrated their world premieres last night, with support from their various cast members and creative teams.

Of course, a Sunday at Tribeca could never be a lazy one. A number of films and events are on tap  to keep you on-the-go from sun up to way past sun down. If you want to plan your day so as to  avoid the rush line, some tickets are still available for Michael H. What happens to film when brands become producers? Representatives from GE, ESPN Films, VICE, and Red Bull Media will explore this topic at the Tribeca Talks® Industry: Brand New Studios panel, moderated by strategic consultant Nancy Schafer.

Are their choices too often shaped by financial demands from the business side of entertainment?  A panel including  Executive Vice President American Documentary | POV Cynthia López and leading documentary filmmakers Dan Krauss (The Kill Team) Morgan Spurlock, Kristi Jacobson and Shola Lynch will discuss these questions at a Tribeca Talks® Industry event entitled The Business of Entertainment: Truth, Persuasion and Bias in Documentaries.
