The Second Day is a touching and inspirational documentary film about the students and educators at Ground Zero area schools who experienced first-hand the tragic events of September 11, 2001 in New York City. Directed by 14-year-old filmmaker Brook Peters, then a member the kindergarten class at P.S. 150 Tribeca Learning Center, the documentary continues to shed emotional light on the manic moments of that fateful September morning via Brook's interviews with fellow classmates, students, teachers, faculty, firefighters, and counselors. This special FREE screening will be followed by a panel discussion. Lines at BMCC begin 30 min. prior to the start of each screening. All seats are first-come, first-served.
