Fueled by alcohol and hormones, 16-year-old friends Aimee and Steph take a reckless swim in a fire water tank to escape the stifling heat on a hot summer night. A moment of intimacy segues into unimaginable panic when they discover the ladder out is just beyond their grasp.

ASHLEE PAGE spent five years backpacking the world before taking root in Adelaide Hills and building her filmmaking skills. She has a BA in screen studies, runs a DVD authoring business, and works as a film lecturer. The Kiss is her first funded film as writer/director and her first project with producer Sonya Humphrey.
