Michael Scalisi
Born in Boston, Michael Scalisi lives in New York City. He has written ad copy for Calvin Klein and Abercrombie & Fitch; worked for New York-based artists and art dealers; written a TV pilot and screenplays, and served as a script doctor on other people’s scripts. His photographic work has been exhibited in Stuttgart, Germany. Spit, Scalisi’s directorial debut, is his homage to New York and the film noir genre popularized by the films of Richard Siodmak. It is adapted from his own short story. He has recently written a feature film script, which he will also direct.
