KRISTEN NUTILE is an independent documentary filmmaker and editor based in New York City. She is the 2006 recipient of the Albert Maysles Award for Excellence in Documentary Filmmaking and has received two grants from the Jerome Foundation. She holds Masters degrees in both Documentary Film and Video from Stanford University and Biology from San Francisco State University. She is currently collaborating with Albert Maysles and Tanja Meding on a documentary about the critically acclaimed dancer and choreographer, Sally Gross.
