Six thousand Jewish people were deported from the Düsseldorf goods station in Germany between 1941 and 1942. The memories of the young Hilde Sherman-Zander, one of only a few survivors, fill the building once more before it is pulled down.

Renate Günther-Greene (b. 1944, Düsseldorf, Germany) worked in advertising before turning to documentary filmmaking four years ago. The Man Who Listens (2007) was nominated for the German Grimme-Preis, and 2007 Before the tracks also appeared in the 2007 Bilbao Film Festival. Recently, Renate's Düsseldorf-Theresienstadt 50 Reichsmark (2008), about the deportation of Jews from 1941 to 1942, debuted on German television.
