The Downtown Plays

| 120 MINUTES | (Unknown)
Last fall, the founders of the Tribeca Film Festival, in association with the acclaimed Tribeca-based Off-Broadway theater company Drama Dept., launched the Tribeca Theater Festival. The highlight of the Festival was The Downtown Plays, a production of short plays about life in and around lower Manhattan. Two plays, Paul Rudnick's Pride and Joy and Jon Robin Baitz's My Beautiful Goddamn City, return-with their original casts-for a one-night-only performance during this year's Tribeca Film Festival. The evening will also include new short play readings by great American playwrights. For more information, visit www.tribecafilmfestival.org and www.DramaDept.org.
