Using 1960s-era home movies of the filmmaker as well as quotes and events from her life, director Annette Apitz examines her complicated relationship with her mother.

ANNETTE APITZ received her B.A. at McGill University in Montreal and her M.F.A from Columbia University's Film School. Her short films have screened at the Hamptons Film Festival, the Palm Springs Short Film Festival, MOMA and on PBS and HBO Latin America. For her thesis film, A River in India, Apitz received the New Line Cinema Award at Columbia. Apitz is currently developing her first feature film, Fighting Fish, and is completing her script Phoenix, a thriller.

The Rush system functions as a standby line that will form at the venue approximately one hour prior to scheduled start time. Admittance is based on availability and will begin roughly 10 minutes prior to program start time. Rush Tickets are the same price as advance tickets and are payable upon entry.
