Chuck is isolated in a roadside convenience shop in the middle of the desert. Through the strange and unlikely companionship of an exotic chicken and, subsequently, a young woman, he rediscovers himself and changes his life's course.

Max Hoffman graduated in theater arts from Brown University and spent a semester at the FAMU Film School in Prague. His short film Musi Byt MA (She Must Be Mine) was awarded best international short at the FAMU film festival.
