Raised in New York City, director Jordan Rubin wrote the opening film for the 2011 Academy Awards starring James Franco and Anne Hathaway. He was awarded YouTube's “DoGooder Award” last year for a short charity film that he wrote and directed with Judd Apatow. He has been the Head Writer of The MTV Movie Awards and Snoop Dogg’s most recent sketch show on MTV. Jordan’s own half-hour standup special, Comedy Central Presents: Jordan Rubin is currently running on the channel. Zombeavers marks his feature directorial debut.
