Love is Strange
Spotlight
| USA | 95 MINUTES | EnglishDrama, Comedy, Relationships, New York, NY Director(s)
Ira Sachs follows up last year’s acclaimed, Keep the Lights On, with another take on modern love. Acting veterans John Lithgow and Alfred Molina star as Ben and George, a Manhattan couple who are finally given the opportunity to make their union official. But when Ben loses his teaching job as a result, the relationship is tested in unconventional ways—leaving them to more strongly rely on their love to hold things together. Lithgow and Molina deliver inspired performances, while Sachs expertly guides his cast in the delicate dance of difficult emotions and scenarios presented among friends, family, and loved ones.
