In each 30-minute episode of this recurring podcast, Keret will write an intimate first-person narrative of this stranger based on a single photo and then encounter this person as they both try to sort out the truth in the fiction and fiction in the truth.

Etgar has always had a hobby of guessing what is going on in the lives of strangers. This exercise in imagination became a game he brought into his widely read newsletter. With his self-professed ‘professional people watching’ skills, crazy imagination, and ability to make up stories on the fly, this podcast was born. Though the facts may not be on his side, we put forth the hypothesis that his fabrications hold a deeper truth.
