REVOLUTION IN THE RING
The story of Cuban boxer Teofilo Stevenson, who in 1962 chose to stay in his home country rather than defect, this film examines through the lens of Cuban-American politics how his life and the life of the Cuban people were dramatically altered by the embargo.
Jason Sklaver’s filmography includes Grey Areas, and The Kidnapping, which screened at numerous festivals. Sklaver has executive-produced and directed pilots, and series and has served as Executive Producer, Showrunner, and Director for multiple networks. He is working on a film on the fifteen year anniversary of 9/11, as well as The Life and Death of Tupac Shakur.
Rush will be offered when advanced tickets for a screening or event are no longer available. The Rush system functions as a standby line that will form at the venue approximately one hour prior to scheduled start time. Admittance is based on availability and will begin roughly 10 minutes prior to program start time. Rush Tickets are the same price as advance tickets and are payable upon entry.
