Steven Spielberg’s 1993 epic masterpiece Schindler’s List remains one of contemporary cinema’s most challenging and sensitive portraits on the human toll of the Holocaust. Anchored by stunning performances from Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, and Ben Kingsley, the film received acclaim and went on to win seven Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director, with an additional five nominations. Twenty-five years later, Schindler’s List continues to be widely considered to be one of the most important films of all time.

Caroline Goodall

Caroline Goodall started her career on stage with the RSC and National Theatre. She has had the great fortune to work twice with Steven Spielberg, as Moira in Hook and Emilie Schindler in Schindler’s List. Films include classic roles such as Kristel in Cliffhanger; Susan in Disclosure, Dr. Alice in Ridley Scott’s White Squall; Helen in The Princess Diaries; Elsbeth Beaumont in The Dressmaker with Kate Winslet. Next she plays POTUS in Hunter Killer opposite Gary Oldman. TV includes Kelly Frost in spy show, Berlin Station; redoubtable Duchess Cecily in The White Queen & The White Princess and London Mayor in upcoming, Bulletproof.

Liam Neeson

Liam Neeson

Liam Neeson is an internationally recognized award-winning actor. His performance as Oskar Schindler in Steven Spielberg’s 1993 Schindler’s List landed him Academy Award, Golden Globe, and BAFTA nominations. He has appeared in over 70 films, including the blockbuster Taken trilogy; Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace; Batman Begins; Love Actually; and Martin Scorsese’s Gangs of New York. In 1993, Neeson received a Tony Award nomination for his performance in Eugene O’Neill’s 1921 drama Anna Christie. He has most recently starred in Martin Scorsese’s film Silence and he is a proud father of two sons.

Ben Kingsley

Ben Kingsley

Ben Kingsley is an Academy Award-winning actor, whose outstanding portrayal of Indian social leader Mahatma Gandhi solidified him as an iconic and coveted talent. Kingsley's professional acting career began in theater, where he took on countless title roles from Othello to Hamlet. In 1984, he was awarded the Padma Shri by Indira Gandhi for his distinguished contribution to the arts and in 2002, he was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II. This year, Kingsley will star in the new espionage drama Spider In The Web.

Janet Maslin

Janet Maslin

Janet Maslin became a New York Times staff critic in 1977. She became chief film critic in 1993, a daily book critic in 2000, and a regular contributor in 2015. Before coming to the Times, she wrote about music for publications including Newsweek and Rolling Stone. She is proud to have helped found the Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville, New York and is president of its Board of Directors.

One of the industry’s most successful and influential filmmakers, Steven Spielberg has directed, produced, or executive produced some of the top-grossing films of all time, including Jurassic Park and E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. He is a three-time Academy Award® winner, earning Oscars® for Best Director and Best Picture for Schindler’s List, and an Oscar® for Best Director for Saving Private Ryan. His most recent film was Ready Player One, based on the science-fiction novel by Ernest Cline.

Embeth Davidtz

Embeth Davidtz caught the attention of the world for her portrayal of the Jewish maid Goeth in Spielberg’s Schindler's List. Davidtz is beloved internationally for her diverse performances such as Miss Honey in the film Matilda, Mary Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man and its sequel, and Annika Blomkvist in David Fincher’s adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo opposite Daniel Craig. Embeth’s television credits include Sonia Kovitzky on Ray Donovan opposite Liev Schreiber; Rebecca Pryce, on Mad Men; Amy in In Treatment, opposite Gabriel Byrne and Dianne Wiest, as well as a season long love interest to David Duchovny on Californication.
