Murray Street Studio's Dance for Children and Teenagers Program provides instruction in Modern Ballet for children ages 5-16 and Creative Movement for ages 3-5. Also included in our program is Choreography Workshop classes for ages 8-16 in which students create their own dances for presentation in the yearly recital and Performance Workshop for students who wish to perform when we are invited to festivals and showcases for young dance groups in addition to our studio recital. The studio is also home to Treehouse Playgroup. Dances by Isadora Dance Co., Tai Chi Master Cheng Hsing Yu, and various other classes and rehearsals.

The Transfiguration Kindergarten School which was founded in 1974, currently enrolls 159 three, four and five year olds. An integrated curriculum focuses on critical thinking, problem solving and language development.
The Transfiguration Elementary School, which enrolls 260 students in grades 1 - 8, was founded in 1832. It has had a long and proud history of academic excellence and a warm family, value-centered environment. Each year, more than 95% of the 4th and 8th graders meet or exceed the New York State Standards in Reading, Language Arts, Math and Science. Furthermore, each year, roughly 50% of our 8th graders are admitted to the top NYC Specialized Math and Science High schools.
