The First Annual Sports Saturday filled the streets of Tribeca on May 5, 2007. Thanks to everyone for coming out and making the day a grand slam!

Thousands of visitors enjoyed a full day of sports flicks, panel discussions, appearances by actors and sports stars and more. Here's what went on.
Shaun White Snowboarding Challenge
New York Giants linebacker Chase Blackburn faced off against pro snowboarder Shaun White in a video game showdown to win the title of Supreme Snowboarder.

ESPN Play Your Way is a youth fitness outreach program that inspires kids to be physically active by making up their own games. It encourages creative recreational play.
NEW YORK JETS “Generation Jets Fest”
A fun interactive football theme park filled with obstacles and challenges like the Quarterback Challenge and Touchdown Run. Visited throughout the day by Jets players.
NY GIANTS
Come test your throwing and kicking skills with the New York Giants as part of the team’s fully interactive training camp. Visited throughout the day by Giants players.
NY ISLANDERS
Fun for all hockey fans, as the New York Islanders join Sports Satruday.
NY METS
The Mets are anticipating a fantastic season, and a visit to Sports Saturday could mean landing tickets to the next big home game.
NBA INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCE
Fun activities for basketball fans young and old— the chance to show off your shooting ability and visit the Walk of Fame.�
MAJOR LEAGUE SOCCER
This is something to see! Watch the New York Redbulls street soccer team perform the most amazing stunts you’ve ever seen with a soccer ball.
YOUTH TENNIS CLINIC
Serving, groundstokes, and net play. The USTA, in conjunction with the New York Junior Tennis League , will be hosting a clinic to hone your skills.
SPORTS & ARTS IN SCHOOLS FOUNDATION
The Sports & Arts in Schools Foundation will be showcasing Hip Hop Dancers from Flushing High School.
SPORTS-FAN FILMATHON
In a tip of the hat to the couch-potato fan, we screened all our sports films at the AMC Theater, Kips Bay in one marathon day—including a special screening of Fans' Favorite Baseball Flick, Major League, picked by fans in our online baseball poll.
