'The Square' Is Now Coming to the Big Screen
Documentary film lovers: now is your chance to bring one of the most talked about films of 2013 to a theater in your city.

Gathr, a service which lets moviegoers request screenings in their hometown, has partnered with filmmakers Jehane Noujaim and Karim Amer to bring The Square to theaters nationwide. The Oscar-nominated documentary feature shows the Egyptian Revolution through the eyes of the country's youth.

"We are overjoyed to be partnering with Gathr on The Square," said filmmakers Noujaim and Amer in a press release. "This revolutionary film about change and the power of the people demands us working with this groundbreaking company that has the tools and technology to respond to that power, and give the people what they want."

Beginning today, communities can organize their own Gathr screenings of The Square at their local theaters and participating venues anywhere in the U.S. Go to the Gathr site to find out how to request one in your town.
