That Time Don Draper Learned About #Hashtags

Critics and bloggers will miss AMC’s Mad Men for many reasons. The elegant and richly character-driven drama, which ended its seven-season run last Sunday, depicted a 1960s/1970s media landscape driven by ambition, creativity, and the purity of ideas. Its setting was a time before computers, before social media, and before the many other aspects of present-day media that can make the game feel like one big Orwellian nightmare.

So, naturally, some Internet geniuses have brought Mad Men’s dated media culture to modern times. In our new favorite Tumblr, Mad Men Integrated, current realities like data trends, branded marketing, Vine, and digital strategy give Don Draper, Peggy Olson, and the rest of their office colleagues a taste of today’s “creatives’” bittersweet medicine.

Have fun trying to get any work done today while scrolling through this brilliant Tumblr, which you can check out here.
