Watch the Trailer for 'Mistaken for Strangers' Starring The National
The opening film of TFF 2013 is now screening in select cities before its March 28th theater and VOD release. Check out the trailer for this one-of-a-kind rockumentary.

You've obviously heard of The National - they're one of the most popular rock bands out there. But you may not be as familiar with frontman Matt Berninger's little brother Tom. Tom is the polar opposite of Matt on the surface - he prefers heavy metal over indie acoustics and would rather be making horror movies than following around his older, more successful brother's band on tour.
Given a roadie position, Tom fails to fulfil many of his duties, often getting distracted by the rock n' roll lifestyle and his handheld camera, which he's using to document the band's tour and what happens backstage when the show is long over. An honest account of brotherly love, competition, and living in the shadow of an older sibling, Mistaken for Strangers is a hilarious yet sentimental combination of family and music.
Check for screening dates in your city. Some include a Director's Q&A with Tom and if you're in L.A. for the March 25th screening you'll even get to see a performance by The National. The film is due out in theaters and on VOD digital platforms March 28th.
