Neil DeGrasse Tyson explains 'The Theory of Everything'

As both science fact and fiction continue their rise in popularity, we are seeing more movies about scientists, and more scientists talking about movies! Check out this clip, in which popular scientist, and host of the COSMOS series, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, breaks down just what exactly the "Everything" in "The Theory of Everything," means.

Boiling complex physics into digestible nuggets is the calling card of Mr. Tyson, and he doesn't disappoint here, as he explains what was so revoluationary about Stephen Hawking's work, and revels in the attention that science is receiving in popular media.

The Theory of Everything, directed by James Marsh, is in theaters now.
