‘The Survivor Tree’ Is Now An Animated Short
The beloved children’s poem about the lone pear tree that survived the collapse of the Twin Towers on 9/11 has been adapted into a powerful short.
On behalf of the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, the team at BBDO NY has turned The Survivor Tree into an incredible animated short. The poem and movie tell the true tale of a single callery pear tree near Ground Zero that miraculously survived the Twin Towers collapse on September 11, 2001. The tree was severely damaged, but was nursed back to health and has since become a symbol for the hope and strength of the human spirit.
