This Weekend's Indies: 'The Grand Budapest Hotel,' 'Grand Piano,' 'Jodorowsky's Dune,' & More

Opening in limited release today: Wes Anderson's latest adventure, a musician whose next note could be his last, an attempt to make one of the most ambitious films in sci-fi, and a hunter tries to save his village.

This Weekend's Indies: 'The Grand Budapest Hotel,' 'Grand Piano,' 'Jodorowsky's Dune,' & More

The Grand Budapest Hotel: A hotel. A murder. A priceless work of art. An impending war. Gustav H. (Ralph Fiennes) manages a famous hotel in a fictional country and takes a young lobby boy under his wing, when the unexpected happens. Suddenly, the two friends are thrust into stories of love, betrayal, and the unforeseeable quirks of life. 

Grand Piano: Elijah Wood is Tom Selznick, a classical pianist who has lost his inspiration and suffers from severe stage fright. At one of his concerts, however, his life is threatened by an anonymous audience member. If he plays just one note incorrectly, Selznick and his wife will die. 

Jodorowsky's Dune:  In this new documentary, Alejandro Jodorowsky walks us through his creative process for the film he never got to make.  Joined by the likes of Michel Seydoux, H.R. Giger, and others, we finally see the passion project that scared off so many production companies. 

Journey to the West: This latest satirical comedy from Kung Fu Hustle director Stephen Chow follows a demon hunter who will face his greatest challenge yet. In order to save his village and the woman he loves, Tang Sanzang willhave to harness all his abilities.
