Frequently Asked Questions

Will Tribeca consider international applicants?

Yes, but applicants must have a current and valid U.S. work authorization. Tribeca does not sponsor employees at this time.

I really want to get involved, can I just intern or volunteer for the festival?

Tribeca does not have any volunteer opportunities available at our festival. If you’d like to be involved, you will need to apply to one of the roles available. Our internship applications open in the fall of every year, so please mark it on your calendar if that is an opportunity you’d like to pursue.

I think I’d be strong contender for multiple roles. Does applying for different jobs hurt my chances?

Not at all! In fact, our team is always looking for folks whose myriad skillsets might apply in new and inventive ways. We do ask that if you are interested in multiple positions, that you carefully review the requirements to ensure you’re bringing all the necessary experience to succeed in the role.

I’ve applied. What now?

Thank you for your interest in Tribeca! Our team will review your application and get back to you if we’re interested in pursuing your candidacy. Please check your spam/junk folder in case your inbox screens our email!

How soon are you looking to hire?

The answer is always “as soon as we find the best qualified person!” However, in keeping with Tribeca’s commitment to excellence, we won’t sacrifice quality for convenience. We appreciate your patience as we work to identify our strongest candidate. Anyone invited to interview will be kept apprised of their status as we work through the recruiting process.

I applied and haven’t heard anything back yet. How can I find the status of my application?

If a role is listed on our website, we are still accepting and reviewing applications. We remove all inactive searches as soon as we secure candidates. Please refrain from calling about an update. If we’re interested in pursuing your candidacy, we’ll reach out directly. Thanks in advance for your patience!
