Character Studies: Angela Kinsey Gives Guidance

Leading up to the January 11 theatrical release of “Struck By Lightning,” Tribeca Film is proud to debut our “Character Studies” series that will help you get to know your favorite SBL personalities just a little bit better.

Character Studies: Angela Kinsey Gives Guidance

“What about college? I can help you decide what college to go to!” Do you remember having that same conversation with your high school guidance counselor? In Struck by Lightning, The Office’s Angela Kinsey plays the school’s titular guidance counselor whose bubbly demeanor and breezy approach towards helping her students especially annoy Carson Phillips (Chris Colfer), one of her few driven students that is sure about his future.

Despite all this, Kinsey, the scatterbrained guidance counselor, is the person who actually gives Carson a key piece of advice on how to strengthen his application to Northwestern. What is that great advice? Find out now by renting the film on VOD or digital platforms or see Struck By Lightning in theaters beginning January 11.
