Sneak Peek: Tour JR's "The Ghost of Ellis Island"
Last fall, JR brought a ghostly life to Ellis Island. Pastings of past Ellis Island staff and immigrants hide throughout the long abandoned hospital building, a landmarked site overlooking the Statue of Liberty and New York City.
We took a tour of the installation in anticipation of the next incarnation of this project - a short film directed by JR entitled The Ghost of Ellis Island.
