With over 100 films and a plethora of virtual reality and innovation projects set to take over New York City from April 13-24, the 15th edition of the Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, should already have NYC film lovers frantically trying to arrange their mid-April schedules. If last week's announcement of our Taxi Driver anniversary/reunion screening felt like the last complication for those calendar struggles, you might as well toss your calendar in the trash and start a new one. Tribeca 2016's full Tribeca Talks lineup is here.

Tribeca Talks: Directors Series, which brought Christopher Nolan, George Lucas, Ava DuVernay, and Cary Fukunaga to the Festival last year, is bigger than ever in 2016. Fresh off of directing the record-breaking Star Wars: The Force Awakens and producing the sci-fi hit 10 Cloverfield Lane, J.J. Abrams will sit down with the always-unpredictable Chris Rock for a lively conversation; having turned Marvel's The Avengers into Hollywood's biggest blockbuster heroes, Joss Whedon will discuss his illustrious career with friend, and Bruce "the Hulk" Banner himself, Mark Ruffalo; Oscar winner Alfonso Cuarón will go in-depth on his critically lauded films, including Children of Men and Gravity; the visually singular Baz Luhrmann and cultural critic/filmmaker Nelson George will chat about their new Netflix original series The Get Down, for which George is part of the writing team; multihyphenate Jodie Foster, whose new film, Money Monster (starring George Clooney and Julia Roberts), opens in May, will talk about her storied career with director Julie Taymor; and Fish Tank director Andrea Arnold will do the same.

Tribeca 2016 will also launch two new additions to Tribeca Talks. Tribeca Talks: Storytellers, which honors pioneers whose creations have stretched across all mediums, will welcome Francis Ford Coppola, Idina Menzel, and Patti Smith, in addition to the previously announced Tina Fey and Tom Hanks. There's also Tribeca Talks: Daring Women Summit Powered by the Li.st, a one-day gathering of some of the most influential women from a variety of backgrounds and professional fields, including Google Entertainment Industry Educator in Chief Julie Ann Crommett, fashion icon Donna Karan, Fresh Off the Boat showrunner Nahnatchka Khan, and Tangerine star Mya Taylor.

"Storytelling is an expansive medium with the power to advance conversations and issues long after the credits roll," said Paula Weinstein, Executive Vice President, Tribeca Enterprises. "The Tribeca Talks series gives audiences the chance to continue those conversations as well as hear from legendary figures in film, music, and more."

And that's not all. Because your April isn't packed with enough cinematic goodness, the Festival has added seven Tribeca Talks: After the Movies events, where attendees will hear from the filmmakers and actors immediately following each film's screening. Two of the films were previously announced but are now officially Tribeca Talks: After the Movies inclusions: Contemporary Color, the World Documentary Competition's opener, will now be proceeded by a conversation between musical legend, and the doc's subject, David Byrne and co-directors Bill and Turner Ross; the second is the documentary short Starring Austin Pendleton, for which character actor Austin Pendleton will discuss his highly respected filmography with some of his most famous past co-stars.

The rest of the Tribeca Talks: After the Movies events range from starry comedies to hard-hitting docs. Co-stars Ricky Gervais and Eric Bana will surely drop multiple quotables after the world premiere of their Netflix comedy Special Correspondents; executive producer Katie Couric and writer-director Jason Grant Smith will converse about their timely world-premiering doc I Voted?; Anthony Bourdain will join fellow executive producer Lydia Tenaglia to premiere their new doc Jeremiah Tower: The Last Magnificent, along with subject and chef Jeremiah Tower; and 2013 Tribeca Nora Ephron Prize winner Meera Menon will return to the Festival for the NYC premiere of her second feature film, Equity, a.k.a. the first women-led Wall Street film.

That's not enough? Well, here's one more big name: Tribeca Talks: Master Class will include filmmaker Catherine Hardwicke (Thirteen, Twilight) giving a free lecture on how to effectively prep a film shoot.
