Video: See Costa Rican Filmmaker Paz Fabrega Premiere film Viaje at Tribeca Film Festival

Meet Costa Rican director Paz Fábrega. We talked to Paz about her film Viaje, the first Costa Rican production to ever play the Tribeca Film Festival and the challenges of making movies in a country without a full-fledged film industry. We tagged along to her world premiere screening and to brunch the next morning with Kattia Gonzalez, the star of Viaje.

We partnered with Remezcla.com to give you a behind-the-scenes look at the Latino talent at this year’s festival. Read more on REMEZCLA

LEARN ABOUT THE FILM

Directed by Paz Fábrega from Costa Rica, Viaje features a couple who voyage into the forest after a chance meeting to avoid succumbing the trappings of a traditional relationship arc. What ensues is a spiritual shared journey through the forest as Luciana and Pedro take in their surroundings, camping, hiking, falling in love. The lush Costa Rican rainforest serves as the perfect stage for the beautiful young couple to play out the intricacies of early romance.
