FoF Live: David Gordon Green on Balancing Big Budgets and Indie Freedom

For me, sometimes I wake up and I’m willing to accept other voices in the creative process. There are other times, you want everyone to fuck off so you can just do what you want.

Chris Hardwick ('The Nerdist', 'Talking Dead') hosted a conversation with Prince Avalanche director David Gordon Green for our Future of Film Live Series with The Verge. In this clip, Green talks about the pressure-free environment of working on “Eastbound and Down” and his blatant love of Suburban Commando.

This Future of Film LIVE was filmed before a live audience on April 23rd, 2013, at 92YTribeca during the Tribeca Film Festival.
