While we all knew that Jenny Lewis was providing the soundtrack for Very Good Girls, we had no idea that Elizabeth Olsen would be singing Rilo Kiley's song 'Go Ahead' in the film!

The song serves as the soundtrack to a relatively awkward, albeit defining, moment for the love triangle that's developed between Lilly (Dakota Fanning), Gerry (Elizabeth Olsen), and David (Boyd Holbrook). Watch as Gerry unknowingly serenades the same boy her best friend is seeing. 

Though the song itself is from Jenny Lewis' band Rilo Kiley's 2001 album, you should check out her new album The Voyager that's coming out on July 29th! 

Very Good Girls is now playing in select theaters..including the Village East Cinema right here in NYC.
