‘Palo Alto’ Expands To More Cities This Weekend
Starring Emma Roberts, Jack Kilmer, Nat Wolff, Zoe Levin and James Franco, ‘Palo Alto’ continues to expand to select theaters nationwide.
One of the most talked-about films at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival, Palo Alto is expanding to more theaters across the country each and every week (and the positive reviews continue to flood in!).
Based on James Franco's Palo Alto: Stories, Gia Coppola's feature debut follows a group of Californian teens on the brink of adulthood. Complemented perfectly by a score from Dev Hynes and Robert Schwartzman, Coppola’s film deftly portrays the vulnerability and uncertainty that are inherent in adolescence.
Plus, it's the perfect time of year to relive those high school days. David Ehrlich of Film.com calls Palo Alto "one of the best movies ever made about high school life in America, blurring the lines between how unique it is to be a teenager, and how universal it is to feel like one." The film starts this Friday, May 23 in the following cities (see the current list of theaters here):
